Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience, license type, and qualifications, plus overtime opportunities.

Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Service Technicians & Installers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. A valid US driver’s license is required to ensure timely travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers systems etc.,

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately install or service equipment.

  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for diagnostics and repairs.

  • Perform work related to HVAC systems and property maintenance tasks as needed.

  • Diagnose issues using mechanical knowledge and field service experience to deliver prompt solutions.

  • Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on repairs or installations, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a service or installation technician in HVAC

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to customers

  • Respond to emergency service calls as required

  • Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, and related components

  • Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, installation drawings, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems.

  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment confidently.

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, and general maintenance tasks.

  • Excellent field service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold

  • Ability to work safely in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and confined areas

  • Ability to work at heights, including rooftops and ladders

  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, and climb

  • Ability to walk on uneven terrain

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut D1, D2, S1, S2, S4, or S10 Trade License

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Professional appearance and work ethic

  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and mobile applications

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

  • Employment and education verification required
